The Orlieb Downtown 2 is a fully waterproof rear pannier with Ortlieb's low-profile QL3.1 attachment system. The recessed QL3.1 mechanism has no protruding hardware to poke the user while the bag is slung over a shoulder or held in the hand at one's side. As such, it's the perfect on- and off-the-bike bag to carry around the city or into work. The interior pocket has a 20L volume, includes a padded laptop sleeve, one postcard-sized zippered pocket, one zippered pocket about double that size, two pen sleeves, and a short, attached lanyard with a clip for keys. The bag closes with a large flap that folds over the front and attaches to one of three durable nylon loops with an aluminum clasp. A shoulder strap is included with the bag, as is all the necessary hardware to attach it to a rear rack.
