Riese & Müller's Load4 60, like the Load4 75, is one of the most technologically advanced and ride-cushioned electric assist cargo bikes, but the Load 60 has a shorter cargo box and wheel base that gives it more agility and maneuverability.

The Riese & Müller Load4 60 is an electric assist cargo bike of exceptional comfort and quality. Not only does it feature a front suspension fork with 80mm of travel, capable of absorbing the cobbles and bumps of the city, but it has a built-in X-Fusion Glyde rear suspension as well. This pairing of shock absorbers (which Riese & Müller has dubbed “control technology”) dampens, if not utterly silences, the often withering feeling of vibration and instability which can accompany riding a bicycle at high speeds on rough terrain, be it paved or not. It’s safe to say that, like the Load4 75, the Load4 60 possesses the most cushioned ride for either the driver or occupants of any e-assist cargo bike.
Furthermore, the Load4 60 features a good deal of adjustability. A quick release adjustable stem not only telescopes up and down to accommodate riders of different heights but also has tool-free angle adjustability forwards and backwards to extend or reduce the amount of reach to the handlebars. The seatpost is similarly adjustable without tools. It's a universal frame size that is quickly adjustable for riders approx. 5’2″ to 6’6″.
Bosch provides the motor, display, and battery--the entire e-system for the Load4 60. It comes with Bosch's Cargo Line Speed motor (Class 3, 85Nm of torque, up to 400% pedal assistance). A Class 3 eBike's motor provides assistance only while the rider is pedaling and will stop providing assistance once the bike’s speed reaches 28 mph. The Load4 60 is equipped with Bosch's new Smart System. Using the eBike Flow app, the rider can control all the functions of the Smart System and customize the bike to the rider's preferences. The Smart System also keeps the bike up-to-date with the latest software updates, offers new riding modes like "auto," which will automatically select and change the level of assistance/torque, and it offers bike lock and tracking features, too. The Bosch display is upgraded to the Kiox 500, and the bike has a 725Wh battery.
Riese & Müller designed the cargo section to accept a variety of cargo carrying vessels and covers, some intended more for open-ended, general cargo hauling, and some intended specifically for family and child transportation. This bike has the low sidewalls, three child seats, footwell, front luggage shelf and a child/rain cover. For even more storage space, the bike has a rear rack, too.
