The Riese & Müller Tinker is a collapsible eBike intended to ease the burden on urban commuters. Crowded trains and buses no longer present a problem for multi-modal commuters astride the Tinker, as its compact size makes it more conducive to fit into dense urban infrastructure. Similarly, the bike can collapse to fit in the trunk of a car should one's plans change, or into a closet or garage at home. Despite its comparatively small stature, the bike's clever frame design accommodates riders between 4'11" (150cm) and 6'4" (195cm) tall. With ease, the rider can adjust not only the seat and handlebar height, but also the distance between the handlebars and the saddle, via Riese & Müller's unique tool-free stem angle adjustment clamp.

Rounding out the Tinker's components are a pair of Tektro hydraulic disc brakes for reliable stopping power, and an Enviolo continuously variable transmission rear hub featuring a quiet, low-maintenance Gates CDX belt drive. Double wall alloy rims fitted with durable Schwalbe Big Ben Plus tires are more than capable of handling the abuse of potholes and other unexpected flaws on city streets. If that weren't enough to ensure the rider's comfort, a Spinner Grind OS suspension fork soaks up any other bumps and vibration. SKS fenders come standard for protection from rain and grit, as well as a rear luggage rack compatible with Racktime accessories.

Bosch provides the motor, display, and battery--the entire e-system for the Tinker. The Tinker is a Class 1 eBike, meaning its motor provides assistance only while the rider is pedaling, and will stop providing assistance once the bike’s speed reaches 20 mph. The sensation of the pedal assist is smooth, not jarring or jerky. There are two Tinker models available, this one being the Tinker Silent, which comes with the Bosch Performance Line (Generation 3) motor. It comes equipped with a Bosch Powerpack 500Wh battery and Bosch's Intuvia display.
