Brompton bike's have two points on each frame where hinge clamps are used (one at the base of the stem and one near where the main tube joins with the head tube). These hinge clamps are held together with an alloy plate that tightens into the frame by way of a bolt (called the hinge clamp lever). If your hinge clamp plate has been damaged or lost, you can replace it with this part.
