This hook attaches to the fork on a version E Brompton to prevent the folded bike from accidentally unfolding.
The Brompton replacement Front Axle Hook mounts to the left of the fork and hooks onto the bottom of the drive-side chainstay in order to keep the bike from unfolding. This kit is for version E (the version without rack or fenders) only.
