The Tern HSD P5i is a one-size-fits-most electric cargo bike that is easy and comfortable to ride, plus you can carry a child or small adult and all kinds of stuff!

The smaller wheels have lots of advantages. For starters, it allows for a wide range of rider heights (5'2" to 6'6"!), which also means it's a breeze to share the bike with a partner. The adjustable stem and telescopic seat post allow riders of varying heights to dial in their preferred seating position. The smaller wheels are more agile, making the bike more capable steering around objects and maneuvering through city streets. Lastly, the 20" wheels keep the bike's weight low to the ground so it's simple to balance the bike while riding with heavy cargo and/or a squirmy child.

Tern has lots(!) of modular accessories for the rear rack and the optional front rack/cargo area to adapt the bike to your particular use, whether you're doing school drop-offs, taking the dog for a ride, grabbing groceries, or just needing to move cargo around. The Bosch Smart System enables some great security features for increased peace of mind; including, an electronic lock that disables the eBike system and uses your smartphone (or display) as a digital key, a high decibel alarm to deter tampering, and a GPS module (Connect Module) that tracks the bike in the event of theft (the eBike Alarm and Connect Module come standard only on S-Class Tern eBikes equipped with Bosch Smart System, but can be added after market on P-Class Tern eBikes. Taking a road trip and looking to take the bike along with you? No sweat! The handlebars can be folded allowing the bike to be store in either an SUV or RV.
