The Thule Yepp Mini child seat is a front-mounting seat for the youngest/smallest kids (with pediatrician approval). A mounting bracket attaches to a bike's stem and remains there permanently, allowing the seat itself to pop on and off with the press of a button (it can also be locked on for theft prevention). The Yepp Mini is a popular add-on to the Workcycles Fr8. The Fr8's long, vertical, quill stem creates the classic upright Dutch bicycling posture so there's ample space between you and your child. Just like the frame-fixed seat option available for Fr8 owners, your child sits securely between your arms.

 The child is buckled into the seat by way of an adjustable, padded 5-point harness, using a childproof buckle. The seat also has its own hand rests and adjustable foot rests and foot straps so that the seat continues to fit as your child grows. It is designed and tested for up to 33 lbs, which generally includes children from 9 months (when babies can support their head weight and sit up on their own) to three years old. Though, it is recommended to consult with a pediatrician for children under 1 year old.
