The Ventisit Kerri Crate Mat is a perforated, cushioned mat that you can leave permanently in the bottom of your Kerri Crate. Compared to the naked plastic crate, the mat is much better at cushioning the contents of the crate, be they produce from the farmer's market, a laptop, or--most commonly--a chain lock (they can be quite loud banging around inside a plastic crate). The mat also makes it easy to remove several inches of snow from your crate by pulling the pad out and shaking it off. If it rains, even though the Kerri Crate is itself perforated on the bottom, the Ventisit mat suspends your items above any water that does happen to accumulate.
