The Vario PS by Ortlieb is a backpack and a bike pannier that features the Ortlieb Quick-Lock attachment systems on one side - to attach the bag to a bike's rack - and a padded, ergonomic shoulder harness with a chest strap on the other side. A flap with an integrated pocket covers the side that is not in use.

For quick access, the Vario PS has an outer zippered pocket and a water bottle pocket. All other items are stored in the main, roll-top closure compartment, which is 26L and includes a protected laptop sleeve. The side of the bag has reflectors and the shoulder harness is stitched with reflective yarn.
